How do you know if you need a health coach?

Starting a wellness journey can be daunting, especially if it entails making major lifestyle shifts, such as changing the way you eat, adopting a sleep hygiene routine, or starting to exercise when you’ve been firmly planted on a couch.

As your health coach, I will help you navigate through all the contradictory nutritional and health advice out there to come up with a highly individualized solution that works for you.

By supporting you on your journey and holding you accountable for your own personal goals, I’ll be here at every step of the way to help you gain a sense of empowerment that enables you to keep making progress every day.

I coach my clients to make gradual changes in their eating habits, along with activity levels, and I aid them in understanding why their bodies are holding onto excess weight. Once this is understood, appropriate lifestyle changes are implemented to help properly support the metabolic changes which won’t result in rebound weight gain.

Factors such as stress, poor sleep hygiene, toxins, inflammation, the timing of meals, and exercise are all factors that can influence the rate at which you lose weight just as much as the foods you eat do. This is where most people plateau, begin to feel discouraged, and give up, only to let the weight come back. This does not have to be you!

Tommy Markov is a Functional Nutrition Professional and Wellness Educator with a Master’s in Human Nutrition and Functional Medicine. He specializes in healing the person, not the condition. He is passionate about uncovering the root cause of his client’s ailments and incorporating an integrative mind-body approach.

Tommy’s knowledge of the interconnectedness of body systems helps him identify imbalances before they manifest into dysfunction and disease, allowing for an effective preventative approach.

Tommy has appeared as a guest and expert speaker on numerous podcasts, speaking events, as well as being a nutrition and supplement consultant. Most recently, Tommy became a proud partner of F.L.O.W. Wellness Center in Abington, Pennsylvania, where he incorporates Functional Medicine and Nutrition along with various other healing modalities and practitioners.
